The register. Most of it is not for sale.

Every population we hold, with where it came from and what we are doing with it. This is the catalogue of a seed bank, not a shop — the food crops that sell openly are a minority of it, and that is deliberate.

HeldMost accessions never leave this state. A population is kept because it exists, not because it sells.

Field record, kept continuously since 2018. Accession numbers below carry the year the population entered the register, not the year we first walked the valley.

How to read a passport. SS·UK·2022·014 — collection, state, year, serial. The code is permanent and is printed on every packet that leaves us. We publish the valley and the elevation band; exact collection coordinates are never public.

How selection works here. A population is kept whole and grown out as a population — it is never for sale. Named selections are drawn from it by mass selection over seasons, traditional methods only, and every selection names its parent. We select from the population. We never select the population.
